Description

SMP 640 is a microprocessor type command and control unit designed for use in resistance welding machines.

General Features

The program is made by means of 9 keys and LCD screen.
The LCD screen has 7 lines of 20 characters and a Turkish menu.
99 welding programs can be set.
Welding programs between 95 and 99 are used sequentially.
Current adjustment is made by synchronized thyristors.
Each program has 16 selectable welding parameters.
Slow current increase, pulse, pre and post welding functions are available.
RMS current value can be monitored on the screen by being renewed at each welding.
Constant current operation mode is available.
The lower – upper value tolerance can be selected for the welding current, and the mode of operation can be programmed between these values.
It automatically corrects possible changes in current values.
It automatically stops overcurrent faults by giving an error message.
Approach piston control is available for double stroke cylinders.
For each program, the number of multi-centering on the part is entered, counting the number of centers and giving the total as the number of parts.
When the number of tailstocks entered is completed, the machine stops and waits for the operation confirmation from the operator.
A tailstock warning number can be entered for each program.
When the entered tailstock number is reached, the machine stops.
Single/repeated tailstock operation is available.
Welded/non-welded working mode can be selected.
There is a strike option.
There are 4 solenoid valve outputs.
Pedal and two-hand operation options are available.
Possible errors can be monitored in writing on the LCD screen.
