General features

What does the SGKP-V12 do?

The centre joint of tubular workpieces on the bench is automatically welded by the TIG or microplasma welding method. The two edges of the workpiece are clamped separately and independently of each other; the clamping jaws are in the form of piano keys. A ruler assembly is provided for aligning the part centre joint. The welding torch is guided by precision linear bearings, and its longitudinal movement is provided by an AC motor and precision screw. Torch approach is pneumatic; torch positioning is done with 3 axis adjustment slides. Shielding gas can be supplied under the workpiece through the boom. Manual and automatic operation of the machine is programmed with a PLC and controlled from the operator panel, where information such as welding length, welding speed, number of welded parts and net welding time can be seen.
