What does the SWP-628 do?
The apparatus has a rotary table and the workpiece is rotated. The rotary table and the counter tailstock are connected to the same column; in angular positioning of the table, the counter tailstock always stays in line with the centre of rotation. There is a pneumatic centring element. Torch positioning uses 3 axis and angular adjustment slides. Table rotation is provided by an AC motor and reducer, and its speed is adjusted steplessly with the AC motor driver. The weld end overlap amount can be adjusted. The apparatus is protected by a surrounding screen.
