It is designed for welding parts such as brackets, rings, bushings and bolts to shaft and pipe ends. One of the welding jaws is fixed, the other moves on the horizontal axis; its movement is pneumatic and guided by linear bearings. The clamping jaws are also pneumatic and guided by linear bearings. The electrode groups can be adjusted on 3 axes. One of the lower electrode groups moves forward and backward so that the workpiece can be loaded easily. The machine and the welding groups are enclosed by a plexiglass screen. The operation of the machine is programmed with a PLC. The welding program unit (SMP-640) has constant current memory and controls each weld according to the current that flows in it.
