It is used for leak-tight welding of the heads of circular workpieces and the skirts of flat parts. The heads are brushed internally and current passes through silver contacts. The heads are dual circuit water cooled. The upper and lower heads are internally driven, individually or together. Speed synchronisation for different disc diameters is provided with a differential (optional). There is a disc turning apparatus on the lower and upper heads (optional). Welding speed can be adjusted steplessly between minimum and maximum. At overlap crossings, puncture and deformation are prevented with the low current/speed option. The same machine can be manufactured as longitudinal + transverse on order.
