The condenser is servo motor driven on the vertical axis. The welding electrodes work opposite each other on the horizontal axis, and their speed is adjusted by servo motor. The welded wire diameter is 1.4 mm. Welding speed can be adjusted between 90-120 rows/minute. Loading and unloading are done from opposite sides: while one condenser is being welded, the other is prepared for loading by the operator. Wire pitch and gap adjustments are made easily. With short condensers, two condensers can be welded side by side at the same time. The current-carrying busbars are water cooled.
